Finance and Administration Manager – City of Warman

The City of Warman is seeking to fill the full-time position of Finance and Administration Manager.

Reporting directly to the City Manager, the Finance and Administration Manager will provide financial leadership and direction for the City of Warman. Responsibilities include directing and administering the day-to-day operations of the expenditure and revenue departments within the City as defined by policies, procedures and guidelines of the City.

The Finance and Administration Manager prepares draft financial statements and financial reports in compliance with the Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB), as well as developing financial and accounting policies and procedures as necessary.

A Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A recognized accounting designation would be an asset. Experience in municipal government is recommended.
