Marketing Coordinator – Momentum Magazine – Vancouver, British Columbia

Term: Tuesday, March 31st – June 30th, 2015 (possibility of extension)
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $16.50/ hour

Job Description:

Momentum Mag is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help elevate its brand, increase revenues and grow its audience. The ideal candidate will have a digital marketing and media/ e-commerce background (graphic design an asset) and will have the ability to create, test, adapt, implement and execute on marketing campaigns and strategies. The ideal candidate must be obsessed with the details but also constantly be thinking and planning big-picture, regularly pitching smart and unexpected ideas. The Marketing Coordinator will set target KPI’s and A/B testing for every campaign he or she runs in order to gain the expertise needed to successfully grow Momentum Mag’s audience and revenues.

The ideal candidate has a love for all things culture, travel, food, fashion and urban living, all while choosing the bike as one of your most desirable modes of transportation.

The position is located in Vancouver, BC – sorry, no telecommuting

Responsibilities

Work directly with Marketing Director on implementing marketing strategy, executing campaigns, and growing both Momentum Mag’s audience and revenue streams
Meet monthly KPI goals
Create and implement marketing campaigns that target and grow customer segments of our readership
Collaborate with Momentum team on campaigns, social media, content etc
Create, manage & oversee contests, including creating and implementing an annual Contests & Promotions calendar
Oversee Momentum Mag’s email marketing strategy, monitor its success and suggest ways to improve both the content and its reach
Implement and manage Momentum Mag’s partnership marketing program
Assist in maintaining and building a strong social media presence across all platforms
Attend and review important events and openings

Eligible Candidates:

Under Age of 30
Eligible to Work in Canada and a Resident of B.C.
Not studying full time (part time students or recent graduates permitted)
Not employed (part time or full time) at time of hire
Not collecting EI, did not collect EI in the last 3 years, or claimed maternity/paternal EI in the last 5 years
Foreign Workers: Must have a valid work visa for minimum first 6 months of employment
