The District is recruiting for an experienced and highly motivated administrative professional to join our fast paced Corporate Services team. If you are an administrative professional with a customer service focus, experience in a local government/legislative environment and thrive in a busy and high volume environment, we want to hear from you.

The position is responsible for undertaking the administrative routines which help to facilitate Council meetings and implement the outcomes of those meetings, in addition to providing clerical support to senior staff to accomplish a variety of local government functions such as: communications and statutory notification; processing access to records requests; and reviewing special event applications.

The ideal candidate will have training and experience in administrative work and excellent word-processing skills, enhanced by a thorough knowledge of business English and correspondence standards. The successful candidate will be passionate about serving the public and Council by providing exceptional customer service every day, and will enjoy the challenge of working closely with other team members under tight deadlines.
