Driver Data Coordinator – Seaboard Transport – Dartmouth

Currently we are hiring a Driver Data Coordinator. The Driver Data Coordinator will report to the Loss Control & Compliance Analyst. The Seaboard Transport Group uses leading-edge technology to monitor safe driving behavior and ensure the safe operation of its vehicles at all times. The Driver Data Coordinator will be responsible to monitor data generated by the on-board computer in real time and provide coaching and support to drivers regarding safe driving behaviors and the impact on their driver performance scorecard.

Core Job Functions:

Administer the Corporate Driver Performance Scorecard program by:
Monitoring, identifying and assigning accurate incentive values to the program based on predetermined parameters
Processing, analysis and reporting on real-time data from the on-board truck computer system
Communicating real-time with Operations teams and Drivers regarding adherence to operational processes, providing coaching, education and support as required.
Working with the Operations team to ensure operational integrity and compliance to corporate and customer policies and professional conduct
Other duties as required

Job Requirements:

Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
Experience in a role with high-volume communication requirements
Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities; ability to process a high volume of data and information from several different sources
Advanced capabilities with MS Office, including: MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Proficiency in a windows-based computer environment, including familiarity with web-based software platforms.
Prior experience working with PeopleNet Fleet Manager is a definite asset.
Strong communication skills – verbal and written
Excellent organization and time- management skills
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Experience in the transportation industry an asset
Bilingual in English / French an asset
