Our Development Services Department is seeking a dynamic individual to join our multi-disciplinary team as a full-time GIS Technician I. In this position you will provide Geographical Information Systems (GIS) support services as they relate primarily to the day-to-day functions and responsibilities of the Planning Division.  You will also support other municipal departments with their mapping and data analysis needs.

You will supplement your training and experience with your knowledge of relevant municipal planning processes, bylaws, and have knowledge of land charges and the Land Title Act provisions.  You will bring strong analytical and decision-making skills, and keen attention to detail, along with your ability to complete assignments under the pressure of competing deadlines and frequent interruptions.
