The Opportunity

The Campus Enrolment Advisor is a frontline, key member of the recruitment team and vital to helping achieve enrolment targets. S/he will assist the recruitment office in assigned recruitment territories by providing follow-up to recruitment initiatives and for managing ongoing, timely and personalized communication with high school guidance counsellors and teachers, and with prospective students, applicants, and through the Manager of Programs and Operations, to parents.  The Campus Enrolment Advisor is also responsible to project manage all off-campus recruitment events, with occasional attendance at those events, plus possible visitation to high schools in the recruitment territories.

This is a three-year term contract beginning on or before 4 August 2015.  A detailed job description is available upon request.

The Candidate

We are seeking a candidate who has a Bachelor Degree in Communications, Business Administration, or Marketing, combined with related sales/marketing experience.  Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative environment are required.  Applicants must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including those required for word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, social media communication, and internet research.  As first-hand knowledge of the Acadia experience would be clearly an asset, preference will be given to Acadia Alumni.  Applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule which may at time include evenings, weekends, and holidays.  Some travel will be required.  Applicants must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

The Rewards

Acadia offers a comprehensive benefit package and a salary rate of $42,000 per annum.
