As the coordinator for all activities of the Survey Section, you will conduct legal surveys and supervise a group of technical subordinates engaged in surveying work. Responsibilities also include managing the Provincial integrated survey monument system within the municipality, certifying finished survey plans for correctness and completeness, and providing technical assistance to internal departments, consultants and the public.

To be considered for this position you must have a degree in Survey Engineering or Geomatics Engineering, plus considerable related experience as a legal land surveyor or an equivalent combination of training and experience.  You must also be commissioned as a BC Land Surveyor by the Association of BC Land Surveyors, and authorized to carry out legal surveys in British Columbia.
