Fast Food Restaurant Manager – Calgary – Fast Foot Restaurant

A full-time Manager position is available in a start-up fast food restaurant operating in a busy business area.

Duties include:
Answer phone calls, pack up take-out orders, take payment & enter into POS system;
Greet customers, serve customers, take orders, serve food, and maintain great customer relationship;
Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils;
Keep accurate records of all transactions and manage cash accurately;
Cook and package batches of food, such as hamburgers and fried chicken, which are prepared to order or kept warm until sold;
Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously;
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas;
Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles;
Prepare specialty foods such as pizzas, fish and chips, sandwiches, and tacos, following specific methods that usually require short preparation time;
Pre-cook items such as bacon, in order to prepare them for later use;
Prepare and serve beverages such as coffee and fountain drinks;
Schedule activities and equipment use with managers, using information about daily menus to help coordinate cooking times;
Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to instructions.

Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years working experience in the fast food industry;
Have great people skills, open-minded, good memory, make customers feel at home;
Ability to multitask, fast, efficient, organized and accurate in serving customers;
Very good telephone skills, take orders accurately and make reservation clear, handling phone professionally;
Pack up food as ordered, check carefully for additional items and omissions;
Familiar with the fast food industry, with extensive food knowledge, such as nutrition and allergy;
Past experience in a fast food restaurant will be preferred.
Hardworking & reliable, Care about the restaurant & other employees;
Past small business management experience will be a bonus.
Ability to clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity
Sales results-oriented, provide extraordinary value through excellent and efficient customer service.
