We are currently seeking an innovative Bakery & Decadence Manager to lead our team and share our vision of providing superior quality products.
In this position you will report to the Store Operations Manager to oversee the daily operation of our Bakery and Decadence Department in our Halifax, NS retail location.

1 – 2 years retail management/supervisory experience
This role is a “working manager” position. Must be able to spend the majority of the time on the sales floor while balancing office work.
People management skills (communication, motivation, performance management, succession planning, etc.)
An in-depth knowledge of inventory management and merchandising
Excellent organizational skills
Proven excellence in customer service skills
Knowledge of and passion for baked goods, and sweets
Food handling experience
Knowledge/experience in managing the highest level of food safety standards
Excellent financial management skills to maximize sales and profit margin while managing expenses appropriately.
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs
Flexible Schedule – Must be able to work days, evenings and weekends
Availability to lead and participate in month end (Sunday) inventory counts
Frequent heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is required
