Reporting to the General Manager, Community Safety, the Fire Chief will be accountable for overseeing the Operations, Administration, Prevention, Education, and Emergency Response services of Richmond Fire Rescue. The Fire Chief will serve as the principal advisor to senior administration and the City Council on the technical requirements of Richmond Fire Rescue, and as a liaison with the Provincial Fire Commissioner’s Office with respect to any provincial regulations that may require the attention of the City Administration and Council.
