Job description (Responsibilities include but not limited to):

Reporting to the Regional Director, the General Manager will be responsible for the operations:

Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
Increases management’s effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers
Communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results;; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities
Accomplishes subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making corrections
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Responsible to liaise with customer in all operational aspects.
Communicate customer’s corporate culture and organizational values for the region to all unionized and non-unionized personnel.

Job requirements:

5 years of operations management experience;
3 years of management in a unionized workplace;
Must be a Canadian Citizen;
Understanding of resource planning and project management;
Ability to work or be available 24/7
Asset: Bilingual English and French

Personal Skills:

Leadership ability, teamwork skills
Work independently without direct supervision , problem-solving and conflict management
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of how to develop and implement business strategies
Ability to develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with the customer
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables
