Position Overview:

You will develop new business opportunities by focusing on prospecting and making outbound calls to potential customers.  You will spread the word about our products and services to all contacts that you make.  You will also handle incoming calls generated from our fantastic marketing strategies and campaigns.  You will maintain all of your activity and progress within our specialized CRM.  You will be a part of a team that is focused on providing excellent service and follow up to your customers.

Main Job Function:

Develop new business opportunities, with a primary focus on prospecting/outbound calling campaigns. Promote revenue generation and product penetration with all customer contacts:
You will spend your day making targeted prospecting calls from corporate marketing lists, industry lists and referrals.  You will follow company guidelines for pricing, including any incentives and discounts offered.  You will know your products inside and out so you can effectively offer additional solutions and services to each customer.

Secondary Job Function:

Effectively handle incoming calls generated from Marketing campaigns, as well as overflow Sales calls from any company branch locations:
You will work with your local field sales team to follow-up on uncovered and newly discovered leads.  You will be ready for every customer conversation and you will know how to handle any objection they may pose.  You will know where your performance lies at all times – compared to the KPIs, goals and objectives outlined by your supervisor.  YOU WILL ALWAYS ASK FOR THE BUSINESS – IT’S JUST WHO YOU ARE!
Works closely with local sales rep to follow-up with all hot leads generated.
Anticipates and overcomes objections to ask for deal.
Effectively follow KPI goals and objectives, tracks progress to make adjustments if behind on goals.
Has the discipline to follow up with every customer to minimize the risk of losing opportunities.
Effective trial closer and tenaciously asks for deal

Able to close transactions on the phone, recognises buying signals and knows how to trial close
Strong follow up skills, overcomes objections rather than sidesteps or ignores them

Preferred Experience:

1+ years Industry or like related sales experience.
General Knowledge of construction process
High School degree preferred
Previous successful phone selling skills preferred
