Project Coordinator – One Contact Inc – Toronto, ON

Overview:

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for cross-functional compliance or other project work and actively liaison between the Leadership Team, Functions, and the IT department. This role will plan, direct, document and coordinate the activities of assigned projects, to ensure that the scope, timeline and objectives for those projects are met. Taking responsibility with initiation, planning and execution of all activities and documentation are required to meet objectives.

Under the direction and support of the VP Client Services, the Project Coordinator will oversee and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects, including but not limited to: creating detailed work plans, tracking projects against established schedules and budgets, budget tracking, progress reporting, policy and process procedure writing, risk and issue management. The Project Manager may also be responsible for overseeing projects to be delivered by business partners, and to track and review their deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have an attention to detail and above average vertical writing skills and is comfortable and effective working both; in teams and independently. It is essential to work well with multiple rapidly changing priorities and be a strong communicator and collaborative worker. Also important is technical applications and/or software development background with a proven track record of exposure to IT tools and projects.

Responsibilities:

Internal subject matter expert on the PCI DSS requirements and testing guidelines.
Leads internal audit activities to PCI DSS standards.
Document gaps and provides recommendations to internal functions.
Group, utilizing staff and consultant resources from various group within the Authority.
Oversees vendor project managers and reviews vendor deliverables.
Coordinate with other Department Managers when resources are needed to achieve common objectives.
Adheres to established process and procedure for project execution established by OCI.
Develop resource plans, project plans and other project documents.
Document meetings and other critical conversations and decision points for the project.
Ensures project adherence to the Change Control Policy, and related procedures.
Ensures project adhere to the Information Security Policy, and related security processes and procedures, and stays abreast of emerging security and privacy concerns in order to incorporate appropriate controls and safeguards into process and projects.
Regularly reports project status, including risks and issues, to Management stakeholders, and the project team.
Participates in procurements on behalf of the IT Department. This may include writing and reviewing scope documents, and participating on the selection committee.

Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Experience: 1-2 Years in related field

Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 for 37.5 hours per week
