Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Director of Public Works and Development Services will bring their energy and enthusiasm to the Senior Management Team.

We are seeking someone with a university degree in Civil Engineering, with specific experience in engineering, planning, and development in a municipal setting, who is a proactive and effective decision maker with superior verbal and written communication skills. Candidates should have experience demonstrating exceptional project management skills, and a successful track record of using technical expertise to find innovative solutions and working collaboratively with all interested parties to find win-win solutions that protect the community interests.

You will be working with a group of experienced employees who will be expecting the Director to look at the whole picture, listen effectively, and communicate a vision, while being sensitive and respectful to differing opinions. Your collaborative leadership style will nurture a positive and respectful workplace climate, and empower your team while supporting their continuous improvement.
