Regional Sales Manager – (Business to Business Sales) – Atlantic Region
Based in Halifax,NS

Position Overview:
GBS Communications is independently owned and operated. We have 25 retail locations across Atlantic Canada and Ontario. Our Direct Sales Team markets the TELUS and GBS Communication’s Business brand to all major market centers. This position is about coaching our Direct Sales force to work with businesses to find solutions and applications that will help them increase their profits and revenues. We are looking for an experienced professional with strong interpersonal, computer and communication skills who are passionate about the community, their results and their personal growth.

Responsibilities:

Follow, Support and Coach our Internal Sales Philosophy based on Business Excellence
Business & Territory Development.
Coaching End to End Sales – From Prospecting to Delivery of Solutions – with an objective to ensure growth and profitability.
Motivate and Support a team of Sales professionals and find ways to help increase their income.
Ability to learn and comprehend our solutions quickly so that you can provide support  to our field reps. These Solutions include GPS Tracking Systems, MS Exchange Services, In-Building Wireless Coverage Solutions, SMB PBX Systems, Wireless, etc..
Assisting the Development of proposals and presentations from templates provided targeted at solving business needs of prospects – STRONG MS Office Skills are required.
Strategizing with Operations Manager, TELUS DPM Support and Dealer Principal on Several Topics including Corp Account Strategy and Acquisitions, Rep Development and Internal Process
Staying abreast of current industry trends, and having the ability to learn and train the different facets of wireless communication (or show an aptitude to learn and understand)
Continuous improvement of performance including sales skills and the identification of potential training opportunities to improve sales and post-sales effectiveness.
Attention to Detail – Our Team Leads must have the ability to juggle schedules but make sure
everything and everyone is following procedure and doing so efficiently.
Represent GBS Communications and TELUS within the Community
Manage Larger Corporate accounts on a case by case basis
Manage Relationships with TELUS Management, Sales and Support Representatives (DPM, DDM, WES, Emerging, SBS, etc..)
Manage ADM Team and insure they are working efficiently and effectively
Must have the confidence to coach reps up, or coach reps out of our organization if they are not meeting performance standards clearly set out to the entire team.
Must enforce GBS Policy, including use of CRM, Edge Rev Up, Bronze/Silver/Gold, Etc.

Qualifications:

Solid outbound sales experience in selling solutions/technology to business clients.
Capability to work in a goal-orientated environment where coaching and training is utilized to support professional development.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office applications, CRM Tools, Etc..) is non-negotiable.
Strong business acumen with analytical ability to assess client needs and profitability.
Excellent communication skills and networking abilities with internal and external contacts.
Ability to calculate and comprehend simple mathematics to generate ROI calculations when engaging our prospective clients and in coaching opportunities.
A Degree, Diploma or equivalent experience/combination in a related field considered an asset.
Business to Business sales experience including Pipeline/Funnel Management, reporting, strategic prospecting, and consultative selling preferred.
Self-starter with high level of initiative and positive attitude who works well without supervision
Ability to organize one’s time and efforts to drive results
Must own an automobile and be comfortable with provincial travel ( Atlantic)
Must have a strong focus and positive attitude and or driven to meet and exceed team targets.

Our Managers have a base salary, plus bonus structure that include a car allowance, phone, laptop and benefits.
