Brand Representative – Retail – Switch – Toronto, ON

Switch is an independently-held, experiential marketing agency working with companies and brands who share our belief in the power of engagement to drive behavior-changing results.  Switch specializes in the creation and execution of live events, field marketing, sponsor activation, digital media, exhibits and environments.

Switch is currently in need of a Brand Representative to help introduce and drive sales of a new product in a brand new beverage category.  Product information and job specs are noted below.

1Above® is an award winning / category forming drink that targets 1.2 billion international passengers. 1Above® helps the well-travelled fly well and arrive ready by fighting the impact of jet lag and supporting circulation through combining clinically proven ingredients.

We have had strong success across an international passenger base in 9 airports in New Zealand and Australia for the past 4 years and are now beginning a North American roll out.

We are a very flat organization and this role will have exposure to management and the CEO and founder of the company.

We are looking for self-starters that want to be part of writing a new story that will change how the world flies.

The frontline retail team of 1Above® represent the brand to the world. This is a chance to be part of changing how the world flies, to be part of a new innovation story, whilst honing your communication skills across multiple cultures.

VISION: To be needed, desired and sought out by the well-travelled the world over.

PURPOSE: Ensure the world’s air travellers fly well and arrive ready every time.

GOAL: Deliver outstanding customer service and delight our customers every time such that they become a ‘net promoter’ for the brand (net promoter -> talking about and attracting other customers to the brand).

KEY ACTIVITIES:

Convert passengers to sale by engaging travellers and explaining key product attributes
Maintain a strong understanding of product and latest improvements
Greet customers and gain understanding of their needs and where they are traveling too
Make appropriate product recommendations based on needs and hours traveling
Turn retail customers in to ‘net promoters’ ask them to tell their friends if they like the product experience
Record inventory levels at retail account before & after product demonstration
Recap product demonstration results:
Product sales during demonstrations
Number of consumer engagements
Samples given
Consumers converted from competitor beverages
Product Merchandising
Merchandise every beginning and end of shift
Ensure all point of sale is displayed appropriately
Ensure FIFO merchandising (no aged stock, first in first out)
Ensure no expired product on shelf
Ensure all stock is tidy and well looked after (no dust)

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:

Results oriented, competitive personality with the ability to delight a customer.
Infectious enthusiasm, vibrant, adventurous, explorative, savvy, proactive and if possible well-travelled (or at least with a wanderlust to travel) – enthusiasm for being better every day.
College education (could be completing)
Relationship builder
Nutrition knowledge or background a plus
Language skills a plus
