Associate Vice President, Facilities and Sustainable Infrastructure – Sheridan College – Ontario

What You’ll be Doing
As a visionary and inclusive leader, AVP is a strategic partner with leaders from across the institution. Reporting to the VP Finance and Administration, the AVP plays a central role in ensuring that space at Sheridan is fully and flexibly utilized to support discipline-specific, collaborative, and/or reflective learning and development.
In this role, you will also be accountable for maintaining and leading the implementation of long-range Campus Master Plans, asset management plans and space optimization plans. Working with College leadership and in close collaboration with the AVP Finance Services, you will be accountable for development and oversight of the institutional capital budget.
As a member of Sheridan’s senior leadership, you will add value to Sheridan’s long-range planning and participate in the strategic planning and operational decisions affecting the current and future direction of Sheridan. You will act as a change agent to identify and adopt emerging trends assisting in the achievement of departmental and institutional goals related to positioning Sheridan as a leader in Facilities and Sustainable Infrastructure.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in business or a related field of study along with extensive years of years of experience leading, developing, implementing, and managing corporate resource plans, including project management (large-scale, long-term capital projects). They will have experience leading sustainability initiatives and have proven change management skills along with extensive knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.

Other Details
Salary Range: $165,263 – $206,578
Campus Location: Trafalgar (may be assigned activities at any Sheridan campus)
