Fundraising Coordinator – Building Roots

Tasks will include but are not limited to:
Personally solicit prospects for special projects at a major gift level
Support implementation of fundraising strategy
Donor retention and communications
Administrative support and tracking donations and other income, and updating the operating budget accordingly
Support with fundraising campaigns, program-area fundraising

Relevant qualifications, skills, and experience:
Post-secondary education in relevant program
2+ years of experience in donor giving, fundraising in charitable/ non-profit environment, or equivalent experience
Demonstrated track record of cultivating, soliciting and closing donor gifts and grants, including experience with family foundations
Proficiency with Google Suite, and WordPress; Asana an asset
Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and systems streamlining
Ability to work well in a collaborative environment, as well as to work independently and proficiently
