Lead the execution of process control, process information and process control network projects, including scope development, design, configuration, testing, installation, commissioning, and start-up
Identify, develop, and implement process control and process control network strategies, applications, and operating discipline required for projects
Ensure that project solutions meet operational, functional and cyber security requirements
Participate in project cost and schedule development and monitoring
Participate and lead project reviews and Management of Change process
Provide expertise for the safe and efficient transition of project to operations
Develop and provide operations staff training on the new systems prior to plant commissioning
Solve complex operational problems and/or develop complex design solutions
Bachelor of degree in Engineering required, Chemical or Electrical Engineering preferred
5 years or greater experience in a process control engineer role
Experience leading medium to large scale process control projects
Experience with process control systems (Honeywell Experion and Triconex preferred)
Experience with process control networks and systems (Microsoft server, Cisco switch and firewall, and VMWare virtual environment preferred)
Excellent influencing and communication skills
Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams and interact with all levels of the organization

Self-motivation and high initiative
Registered or eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)
Legally authorized to work in Canada
