THE POSITION

The IT Manager is a team player with the ability to maintain and improve information technology processes. Working with Integral Group’s stakeholders and management team, the IT Manager will design, manage, and maintain all of the company’s information technology systems. Be accountable and responsible for the IT Strategy and implementation for Integral Group Vancouver. Manage a team of IT Professionals to maintain the performance and improvement of our IT Systems. The IT Manager is current with industry developments with a view to identifying new business opportunities suitable for the practice and to make initial contact to introduce the firm’s expertise.  Provide regular reporting for IT activities to the COO and Integral Group Principals as required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of Information Systems
Operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks, and information systems
Manage the IT Support team to meet departmental goals and objectives
Control the budget and expenditures of the IT Support department
Install new networks, operating systems, and upgrades as required
Perform system backups
Able to set clear goals and expectations at a departmental level
Develop reports
Responsible for the training, development, and coaching of IT Support Technicians
Provide recommendations on best IT practices
Drive continuous improvement of IT process
Ensure that technical standards, processes, and policies are followed

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

A degree (or equivalent experience and education) in an IT Management-related discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the capacity of an IT Manager
8-10 years of IT experience
Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, implementation of software solutions
Knowledge of IT related systems solutions including management of CRM, ERP, and other databases
Ability to organize and manage the IT Support Team`s time schedule to meet deadlines
A talented facilitator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of Deltek Vision is an asset
Strong proficiency in the following software and hardware:
Microsoft Office
Windows 7
Microsoft Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012
Microsoft Hyper-V
Smartphones:  iPhone, Android, Windows
Advanced knowledge of networking equipment and technologies
Autodesk products: AutoCAD and Revit is an asset
