Director of Student Recruitment

The Opportunity

Acadia seeks a dynamic team builder and entrepreneurial thinker to serve as our Director of Student Recruitment to lead our domestic student recruitment efforts.  The Director must be a professional, action- and results-oriented leader with proven management experience and demonstrated ability to collaborate purposefully and effectively with a broad range of campus constituencies and external stakeholders and partners, to develop and oversee strategic recruitment policies, procedures, strategies and plans that reflect Acadia’s vision.

S/he will provide direction and leadership for implementation of those strategies, develop short- and long-range objectives and performance standards, and provide advice to senior leadership.  The incumbent will also lead the recruitment staff to help meet Acadia’s enrolment targets, as well as direct and manage programs and budgets.  The results are critical to Acadia’s success.  A detailed job description is available upon request.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience in business management, sales and/or marketing with demonstrated success in recruitment in a post-secondary educational setting. Knowledge of, and experience with enrolment planning, budget management, marketing and communications is essential as are superior communication skills.  Proven effectiveness as a team builder with highly developed organizational and administrative abilities is required.  Occasional domestic travel will be required.

The Rewards

Acadia offers a comprehensive benefit package in addition to a starting salary of $71,454 per annum (AUPAT Level 8).
