Instructor for our Legal Programs – Eastern College – Fredericton

We have an immediate opportunity for a Paralegal or Lawyer interested in joining our Fredericton Campus team as Instructor for our Legal Programs.

The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide quality delivery of assigned legal programs courses utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments, and exams.

To be successful in this role you will have:

3-5 years of practical experience in the legal profession working as a Paralegal or Lawyer.
Ideally you will have experience with matters in small claims court, civil litigation, contract law and/or employment law.
Proficiency with legal software programs such as PC Law would be considered an asset.
Intermediate MS Office skills.
Excellent English communication skills, organizational skills, and a professional attitude.

This is an ongoing permanent opportunity scheduled to start immediately. This opportunity is to teach Monday to Friday and hours of work will either be 8am-12pm and/or 1pm-5pm.
