Position Overview
Forum is recruiting for an Asset Management Coordinator who will report to the Associate, Impact and ESG. The successful candidate will bring excellent customer service capability, a results orientation and strong communication skills to this role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative management of Forum’s residential rooftop solar portfolio
Act as primary point of contact with homeowners, field operational personnel and other stakeholders to achieve full operational and financial success of the portfolio
Develop maintenance strategies to ensure the portfolio is meeting performance expectations
Maintain asset management tools, data files and records of the asset portfolio, including managing monthly generation payments from utility companies
Account for and remain aware of issues, trends and portfolio requirements, including assessment of portfolio risks
Deliver innovative solutions to address issues as applicable
Prepare internal and external reports that summarize the portfolio status (including financial updates, performance, and issues tracking)
Responsible for contract management activities such as support, compliance and payment administration
Exposure to Public Private Partnership Asset Management
Candidate Profile
University degree or college certificate
Minimum 2-3 years of experience working on asset administration and coordination, preferably in the renewable energy or power sectors
Previous experience working with contractors and trades on execution of service agreements
Previous experience working on projects with multiple stakeholders
Ability to work on projects as a reliable team member and as a strong individual contributor
Partnership-based approach with respect for internal and external counterparties
Creativity in troubleshooting with innovation in a time-sensitive manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
Initiative and leadership
Excellent organization and time management skills
Previous experience in residential solar is an asset
Ability to understand drawings, specifications and code requirements is an asset
High competency using Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and Excel
