Bylaw Enforcement Officer – City of West Kelowna

The City’s Bylaw Department is recruiting for a relief, on call Bylaw Officer. The ideal candidate will not be seeking full-time employment but instead be comfortable with an irregular schedule on an “as and when needed” basis and able to working during the summer months.
If you possess Grade 12 education plus completion of Bylaw I Enforcement certificate and a minimum of 2 years experience as either a Bylaw or Peace Officer you are our ideal candidate.

The successful applicant will assist and be flexible with bylaw enforcement duties such as issuing Municipal Ticket Information fines, investigating complaints received from public to determine compliance with Municipal bylaws. Applicants under consideration must have a valid Class 5 BC Drivers’ License and will be required to obtain the required Enhanced Security Clearance.
