An Educational Administrative Intern would support and promote the growing publications portfolio. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner. Accurate data entry and record keeping is required as well as attention to detail. The ability to craft promotional materials and assist with the circulation of communications is desirable.
Reporting to the Marketing and Sales Coordinator, duties will include:
Promoting publications to astronomy clubs, booksellers and online audiences
Researching and contacting potential magazine advertisers
Preparing an astronomy calendar to support marketing planning
Centre communications, data collection and data entry
Data analysis as required
This is a remote assignment for an Ontario resident. Candidate needs their own computer, internet access, long distance telephone plan, experience with word, excel, Google Drive, Zoom. Post secondary education.
