Position Summary

The Fleet Administrator will work closely with the National Fleet Manager to ensure the implementation of cost effective asset management and maintenance strategies that will maximize performance within CanaDream’s dynamic environment, while maintaining a safe and reliable fleet.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create, edit and revise CanaDream University courses
Perform weekly verification of inventory counts and maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of CanaDream
Ensure the timely turnaround of parts needed
Process warranty claims, identifying recurring vehicle issues, communicating with manufacturers, service personnel, and managers
Complete analysis of money spent and monitor expenditures through reports
Improve communications between service departments by ensuring service bulletins are completed in a timely manner
Ensure winter maintenance is completed by monitoring progress towards completion and distributing weekly progress reports
Participate in the selection and recommendation of transfer drivers. And ensure each transfer driver provides a driver’s abstract prior to hire
Ensure transfers occur in a timely manner; schedule driver’s flights; process driver payments
Direct fleet-related webinars
License and insure vehicles
Perform special projects as assigned by the National Fleet Manager

Skill Set, Education and Experience

3-5 years’ experience in fleet administration
Proven customer or guest service and communication skills
Strong computer skills and accurate data entry skills
Flexibility; adaptable and able to multitask
Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
Excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
Valid driver’s license an asset
