Human Resources Advisor – City of Coquitlam

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Human Resources Advisor to complement our team of HR professionals with applied knowledge of Human Resources related to organizational design, talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee and labour relations, performance management, and change management. This role will also participate in a variety of HR projects and initiatives.

Reporting to the Manager Human Resources, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and facilitation skills, business acumen, critical thinking and strong problem solving ability and a passion towards delivering excellent customer service. Utilizing your proven ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships, you will bring a collaborative approach towards achieving the organization’s goals and objectives and executing the organization’s HR Strategy. The candidate will have 5 to 7 years’ experience in all functional areas of HR within a unionized environment and have completed a related post secondary program, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with HRIS, applicant tracking systems (HireDesk) and PeopleSoft would be preferred.

A CPHR designation will be considered an asset.
