Our client, a major energy organization is seeking a highly qualified Senior OD Consultant for a short-term consulting engagement responsible for assessing and offering input into specific organizational design projects. Successful candidates must have a background leading OD work analyzing the performance effectiveness of a shared services center.

Responsibilities:
Perform an objective assessment of a newly created shared services team;
Review the workload of the team and assess if they are focused on the right tasks;
Assess if the resources that have been allocated to this team are adequate and appropriately allocated;
Assess if the group are operating and structured effectively;
Assess the caliber of the current team;
Design and implement a management model to effectively measure and improve organizational framework;
Collaborate with VP?s and Directors to develop and execute change projects aligned with organizations strategic plan;
Engage in process consulting to improve current business model or develop more effective methods.

Required Knowledge, Abilities and Experience:
You must have led OD work in either an energy or a highly regulated organization;
You must have led an OD project to either create a shared services center or center of excellence and/or to assess the effectiveness of one that is already established;
Strong demonstration of project management and decision-making capabilities;
Experience handling change management in a leadership capacity;
Independent consulting background with experience coordinating organizational effectiveness;
Previous work experience in energy sector, knowledge of environmental regulatory issues an asset.
