Program Manager – Ecofitt Corporation – Ontario

Job Summary
As Program Manager for the Remote First Nation’s Energy Efficient Program, you will work with the Program Director to coordinate day to day activities for the program. Our deliverables for this program are to develop positive working relationships with 12 First Nation communities in Northern Ontario; to hire, train and manage local technicians/contractors to be able to conduct energy audits of the community’s homes and procure and ship energy savings products and materials to assist them with upgrading their homes so that they are more comfortable, safe and efficient.
Tasks include development of program materials, recruitment and oversight of local Technicians; participation in community launch events and outreach (travel to northern Ontario); coordinating home retrofits; performing quality assurance activities, tracking and reporting on results, preparing reports, planning logistics, shipping and travel.

Responsibilities
Works according to an established program plan; supports day to day program deliverables as determined by program plan
Effectively applies and enforces all program quality standards through daily monitoring of operational performance and KPI’s
Develop materials for the recruitment and training of community coordinators
Supervises a team of community coordinators; ensuring adherence to program plans, and all company and program policies and procedures
Facilitates effective interdepartmental communication and understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
Keeps Program Director well informed of the status of all deliverables and maintains open communication
Support the development of program documents and materials as well as marketing materials, and community and youth engagement activities
Support the coordination of in community launch events, and community engagement and recruitment
Travel into participating communities for initial launch events and potential quality assurance activities
Coordinate the shipping and storage of program materials and products and program equipment
Coordinates the deployment of Energy Advisors into the communities to conduct blower door tests and energy audits
Consults with Energy Advisors on the quality assurance process to ensure home upgrades are being completed to required standards
Conduct quality assurance activities, data analysis and reporting
Contribute to program required reporting, drafting meeting minutes, community update reports and strategy session reporting
Work collaboratively with program partners and participate in program related meetings

Required Qualifications
Graduated from a post-secondary program
4 + years of program management experience
Education and/or experience and/or interest in building science, renovations, energy efficiency
Exceptional project management, logistical planning, and quality assurance skills
Excellent interpersonal skills in order to effectively work cross functionally; source information, obtain approvals, build relationships, and provide sufficient influence to achieve success
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities as well as data management and analysis skills
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively support multiple projects
Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Desired Qualifications
Experience with community-based and/or Indigenous clean energy projects
Experience with home renovations, working with trades and contractors
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable giving presentations and delivering training to various audiences.
Ability to work independently, remotely and as part of a team
