Program Manager – The Bicycle Valet – Better Environmentally Sound Transportation

Work with General Manager to develop annual business plans and budgets for the Bicycle Valet program
Sales and Marketing
Communicate with Bicycle Valet customers and prospective customer to reach revenue targets together with the General Manager
Develop interactive and engaging experiences for BV patrons (e.g., contests, prizes, giveaways, etc.) and coordinate with Communications Manager
Develop communications, promotions, marketing and outreach for Bicycle Valet
Maintain and update and coordinate with Communication Manager
Create timely posts on Bicycle Valet social media channels and coordinate with Communication Manager
Support the General Manager with sponsorship development activities
Conduct site visits with event coordinators
Appropriately delegate responsibilities to staff and volunteers (at most events) and provide support to these people
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, staff and volunteers with a willingness to solve problems and maintain high quality standards
Organize and maintain vehicles and equipment
Ensure that BV patron’s contact information is collected and correctly entered into BEST’s contact database in timely way
Ensure accurate records are kept at every event
Collect tips/gratuities and ensure funds are deposited in the credit union account
Write reports at the end of the season

Human Resources:
Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and manage Bicycle Valet casual staff and summer co-op students
Maintain training manual documentation for the Bicycle Valet
Develop and deliver a fulsome onboarding and training program for co-op students, casual staff, and volunteers
Organize volunteer and staff recognition events within budget
Ensure all required information for invoicing customers and paying suppliers and employees is delivered to accounting in a timely manner
Manage expenditures within approved budget
