Office and Customer Relations Manager – Ethical Bean Coffee – Vancouver, British Columbia

Ethical Bean Coffee is currently seeking a dynamic, full time office manager to provide a range of in-house and front line support to all involved with Ethical Bean. As we expand distribution across Canada, into the US, and beyond, we are looking for a candidate who is excited about growth and reflects the entrepreneurial and hands-on spirit embodied by Ethical Bean Coffee.

You will:

Be the voice and face of Ethical Bean Coffee to many of our fine customers, friends and suppliers. Not quite a life line – but close
Link account managers with customers to support growing sales and marketing efforts
Conduct outbound calls to maintain regular contact with our growing list of customers and keep them stocked up on our fantastic coffees
Work closely with accounting to not only ensure that orders are entered correctly, but that payments are received and billing information is up-to-date
Give thoughtful and courteous answers to customer inquiries about coffee, brewing, community events, and sustainability as they arise
Be the first point of contact for external requests for community event sponsorships and donations
Fill in the gaps among the office and production team as needed!

Your skills:

Well organized and equipped to handle multiple jobs each day
Thrive in an environment with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail to ensure customers receive exactly what they ordered when they need it
A people person with strong communication skills
Comfortable with the Mac operating system and Microsoft programs
An adaptable quick thinker able to creatively solve problems
A proactive member of the team who spots when things need fixing – and fixes them!

Nitty Gritty

This position is full time (38 hours/week) Monday to Friday reporting directly to Ethical Bean’s COO, Viren Malik. All full-time positions at Ethical Bean qualify for our extensive benefits package. Compensation to be discussed at the time of interview.
