Sales / Marketing Manager – Key Industries – Saint John

Position Summary:

Your contribution to the strategic growth and success of the company as the Sales & Marketing Manager will be to promote Key Industries unique promotional product solutions through efficient and effective market planning and execution, scheduling and implementation of relevant production and sales processes and delivery of one of a kind customer service.

As part of the management team, you will participate collaboratively within the business to ensure achievement of business objectives coupled with exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

Provide leadership, mentoring, training and day to day direction to the Sales and Production teams.
Development and execution of an effective sales and marketing plan to include the creation of sales strategies to generate new business opportunities.
Coach and model behaviors that drive results aligned with the company strategy to achieve established performance targets and results.
Management and execution of process excellence standards and initiatives for improving company’s performance in cost reductions, production efficiency and quality performance.
Provide highest level of customer satisfaction with the goal of positioning Key Industries as a leader and premier promotional product provider.

Responsibilities include:

Sales and production data reported, reviewed and analyzed to assess and drive business performance.
Production schedule management and coordination of resource requirements to meet productivity targets.
Initiative in obtaining required knowledge of current industry trends, leading technology and best practices through training opportunities, networks and  other applicable sources to improve competitive position.
Establishment and assessment of Production and Sales staff performance metrics.
Communication and adherence of company policies and safety guidelines to staff.

Qualifications:

Relevant education and experience in related field (s).
Exceptional relationship building abilities and natural talent to lead.
Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills.
Fluent knowledge of sales & marketing best practices and business development.
Strong computer skills with the aptitude to learn new technology.
Genuine desire to create business value and efficiency.
Solid decision making and critical thinking skills
Excellent presentation , oral and  written communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
Effective negotiation and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of promotional product industry considered an asset.
