Responsible for sourcing Madagascar essential oils: Continuous search for new producers, analyze prices and quality, negotiate terms/conditions and close deal, manage import, perform quality control via a specialized laboratory (GC-MS analysis of each batch).
Evaluate the quality of each supplier’s essential oils: methods of production used by the supplier, chemical composition specific to Madagascar essential oils, and the olfactory bouquet. With these results and analysis, prepare a technical sales report for each existing and/or potential supplier.
Identify and evaluate new essential oil producers, build a long term relationship to establish a reliable and continuous supply of quality Madagascar essential oils.
Research new species of plants discovered in Madagascar and evaluate the potential behind the commercializing of these plants’ essential oils.
Sales:
Establish a business development strategy based on the qualitative advantages of Madagascar essential oils compared to other producing countries.
Identify and evaluate sales opportunities, prepare sales propositions, manage prospection activities, attend tradeshows, and prepare sales documents.
Develop sales arguments demonstrating to our clients and prospects the superior quality of the Madagascar essential oils offered by Royal Atlantic Group.
Requirements:
18+ months of experience in the commercialization of essential oils
Previous experience in Madagascar preferred
Education: Baccalaureate or higher
Basic technical knowledge of essential oil production methods is a plus
Basic technical knowledge of the chemical composition of Madagascar essential oils is a plus
Fluent in French and English (spoken and written) is a must
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent skills in web research and MS Office
Excellent analytical skills

Methodical and organized
Excellent customer service skills
Good sense of responsibility and initiative
