Pitt Meadows is in the midst of exciting new changes with the development of a brand new independent parks and recreation service. We are seeking Recreation Program Leaders to support a variety of recreation and culture programs and events in our community.

These positions are responsible for providing instruction and leadership in a wide variety of recreational and after school programs, camps and other activities as well as support for special events and youth centre programs. The successful applicants will have knowledge and experience in the fundamentals of program leadership and instruction for program participants of all ages, including children and youth, as well as excellent communication skills.

The successful candidates will have completed grade 12 supplemented by courses related to the work, plus experience; or an equivalent combination of training experience. You must be willing to work various shifts, Monday through Sunday, 5:45 am – 10:15 pm, as scheduled.
