Systems Administrator – Enseignes Pattison Sign Group – Edmundston, New Brunswick

Enseignes Pattison Sign Group, one of the largest sign and visual communication companies in the world, is seeking to fill the following position in their Edmundston, N.B. office:

As a Systems Administrator, your work will be focused on Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, Microsoft Lync and Citrix. In addition, you will have the opportunity to lead internal process improvement activities and technology initiatives. You will be required to be on-call and occasionally work outside normal office hours as well as travel on few occasions.

Responsibilities:

Operate the test/production environment to reproduce various customer setups, typically involving Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory as well as other enterprise grade technologies.
Suggest solutions or workarounds to internal clients. If required, provide phone support for more advanced troubleshooting.
Support PSG employees through the web-based ticketing system and if required, additional phone support for more advanced troubleshooting.
Act as first point of contact for infrastructure /systems based customer issues, providing technical resolutions to internal customers.
Document and share best practices and update knowledge base for the helpdesk support team and facilitate knowledge transfer across internal teams.
Collaborate with PSG’s Systems Analysts as well as participate in the support review process,  provide suggestions, and implement improvements.
Manage infrastructure/support tools and technologies evaluation. Take ownership of support infrastructure requirements and push for adaption of the new technology within the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
5+ years of Enterprise Systems Administrator experience in a Microsoft Server enterprise scale environment, with expertise in technologies:
Windows Server (2008 & 2012) and core technologies (Active Directory, DNS, Group Policies, IIS, Remote Desktop Services, etc.)
Exchange Server 2010, 2013 Enterprise administration
Knowledge of systems/network security techniques.
Experience with virtualized environment (VMWare or Citrix)
Ability to assist with training of colleagues.
Demonstrated ability to document, track, troubleshoot and resolve time sensitive issues.
Demonstrated multi-tasking and organizational skills in a rapidly changing environment.
Experience working with remote teams and driving resolution for issues that require multiple people/teams working together.
Exceptional customer service skills in supporting highly complex technical issues.
Must have all necessary documentation at hand to be authorized to work in Canada.
Microsoft MCSE certification considered an asset.
