We are seeking applications for the position of Director of Engineering Services. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, this position is part of the Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) Senior Leadership Team that provides corporate, legislative, financial and strategic policy functions to the Board of Directors and the organization. Working with the CAO, the Director of Engineering Services is responsible and accountable for the overall management and performance of the services in this division. This position will strategically lead the evolution of the Engineering Services Division in conjunction with the CAO’s mandate to achieve the Board’s vision and strategic priorities

To be successful in this role you must have a minimum of ten years senior managerial experience in local government, preferably in civil works. A degree in Civil Engineering is preferred with valid membership in a professional association such as APEG or ASTTBC. You must have knowledge of provincial legislation, RDCO regulations and bylaws. This position requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking and analytical abilities with excellent communication. Flexible work hours are essential to meet operational requirements.
