Integrated Logistics (NL) Ltd is a full service stevedoring and materials handling company with operations across the province. Integrated Logistics continues to grow its operations and is expanding its employee base. Currently, we are seeking candidates with relevant training and experience for the full-time onsite position of HSEQ Coordinator in Long Harbour, Newfoundland.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate maintenance of HSE training records and attendees ensuring that information is filed and matrices are accurate
Develop and coordinate plans for HSE related training and re-training
Maintain and distribute Personnel Protective Equipment and ensure that staff have task specific equipment as required for working with hazardous materials
Coordinate in conjunction with HSEQ Lead, Incident and Accident investigations
Conduct site orientations with staff and facilitate required training
Prepare and develop site polices, procedure, notices in conjunction with HSEQ Lead and Project Manager as required
Participate and conduct field inspections, audits
Offer assistance to shift supervisors with HSE requirements as needed
Prepare weekly safety reports for clients and conduct emergency equipment inspections
Review and assist with Field Level Risk Assessments (FLRA) and HSEQ cards with staff.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
A minimum of two years’ hands-on safety experience
Post-secondary training or relevant experience in OHS and Environmental
The ability to utilize investigative and audit tools and processes
Exposure to the Engineering and Mining Industry (Preferred)
An in-depth understanding of HSE legislation;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
