Chief Administrative Officer – Town of Fort Qu’Appelle

Nestled in the scenic Qu’Appelle Valley and approximately 75 kilometres north east of Regina, Fort Qu’Appelle is a progressive Saskatchewan community of over 2000 people.

With the assistance of HMC Management Inc., Council is seeking the services of a qualified Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to provide professional leadership and direction for the Town.

Ideally you are an effective communicator, with strong technical skills in urban municipal administration and governance, planning and development, HR management and municipal accounting. As a hands-on public servant willing to be involved in your community, combined with a strong employee relations background, you will provide leadership to Council, staff and the community.

With your Standard or Class “C” Saskatchewan Municipal certification, combined with post-secondary education in Public Administration or a related field with a specialization in management and administration or a combination of relevant training and senior leadership experience and a demonstrated track record of strong leadership or with prior senior urban management experience or as a Chief Administrative Officer in a urban municipal setting, you will play an important role in the municipality’s success. It is expected that the CAO will reside in the Town of Fort Qu’Appelle.

If you meet the minimum skills and qualifications the salary range for the CAO is $90,000 – $110,000/annum.
