The ESREN, representing the Municipalities of the County of Antigonish, St. Mary’s, Guysborough and the Towns of Antigonish and Port Hawkesbury is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The CEO is the lead administrative resource for the organization, including staffing, budgeting and program/project delivery and is responsible to provide advice and information to the ESREN Board so that they can set the strategic direction and policy formulation to encourage the economic development in this area of Nova Scotia.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator capable of effectively interacting with business and government interests; is capable of making complex issues clear and building support for his or her ideas. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics or a related field, plus +5 years senior management experience.
