The Town of Midland is currently seeking an experienced Director of Corporate Services/Town Solicitor. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer this role will provide overall leadership to the Clerks department and acts as corporate legal counsel.

As our ideal candidate, you will hold a license to practice law from the Law Society of Upper Canada with five (5) to ten (10) years of experience and strong working knowledge of municipal legislation and regulations. You have demonstrated leadership skills with a strong capacity to communicate effectively and engage with your staff, your colleagues as well as with leaders within the community. Your ability to be both innovative and creative in your approach to problem solving will serve you well in this political and customer centric environment. Being both a strategic thinker and change agent will allow you to make effective and positive changes across the organization and in the community.
